The Counterpoint Consulting Network is a small group of well established independent international development consultants.  Counterpoint was set up in 2011 and was born out of the recognition that international development agencies, governments and major consulting firms increasingly rely on the use of independent consultants.

The network exists to share and develop the expertise and experience of its members and to provide a common framework for marketing their services. It also offers a mechanism within which professional quality support can be provided to its members working on consultancy assignments.

Our expertise covers economic development policy, public expenditure and aid management, and program review and evaluation.  Our consultants work with the international financial institutions, aid agencies and consultancy companies.  Collectively we bring experience from over 200 consulting assignments.

Our members have worked together previously, in many cases over a period of several years.  We demand high professional standards and have respect and confidence in each other's capabilities.  We are committed to retaining these values and for Counterpoint to remain a small and focused network of consultants.  We believe that these collective values can provide a level of assurance to our clients.

Counterpoint does not undertake consultancy contracts itself.  Its members are contracted by aid agencies or consulting firms who can contact the consultants directly through their individual Counterpoint e-mail address.  Alternatively our consultants can be contacted collectively at consultants@tcpcn.org.
